A Partner since 2007 and with over 10 years’ experience in the patents field, Adrian has specialist expertise in mechanical engineering. He holds a Mechanical Engineering (Hons) degree from Brunel University, West London. He is also a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. 

Adrian initially joined the Northampton office of A.A.Thornton & Co. in 1996, subsequently moving to the London office in 2004. Prior to this he was with British Aerospace Defence Ltd for eight years, four years of which were spent in the Military Aircraft Division and four years in the Dynamics Division. The latter included 18 months training as an undergraduate mechanical engineer.

  • Preparing, filing and prosecuting UK and European registered design applications
