Chris’s undergraduate degree was an MEng. in Automotive Engineering from Leeds University. He spent his third year studying abroad at the University of California, Berkeley, as part of an exchange program, before returning to Leeds for his final year and graduating with First class honours in 2002. After periods spent travelling and working for a family run Engineering firm, Chris enrolled on and subsequently passed the MSc. in Management of Intellectual Property at Queen Mary, University of London. Since the end of 2005 he has worked in the Mechanical department of A.A. Thornton & Co. and is training to become both a Chartered and European Patent Attorney.
