Charlie graduated from St. Aidan’s College, Durham University in 2008 with a Masters degree in Chemistry.  He joined the chemical department of A.A. Thornton & Co. later in the year after a brief time spent travelling.  Charlie successfully completed the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London, and is training towards qualification as both a Chartered patent attorney, and a European patent attorney.
