Emily graduated from the University of Bristol in 2001 with a Masters degree in Chemistry. She joined A.A.Thornton & Co. in 2002 and has since gained the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London, and qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2007. Emily deals with a wide range of patent work, including prosecution and infringement in the chemistry, pharmaceuticals and chemical engineering fields.
