Our clients include global corporations as well as innovative smaller companies, both in the UK and globally. We work directly with many technology companies who request our help in a wide range of technology fields, such as smartphone and telecommunication network inventions, exploration and analysis inventions for the oil and gas industry, computer-implemented inventions, consumer electronics, engineering and gas testing systems. We also receive instructions from our large international network of associate firms.

Qualified Patent Attorney

Successful candidates will be EPA and CPA qualified, with an excellent first degree in a subject relevant to the above-listed client technologies, such as electrical engineering, electronics and computing, or physics with electronics or telecommunications experience. You should have a strong track record in handling patent work for electrical clients. You will be responsible for direct client contact and developing strong client relationships, so a commitment to excellent client service is essential.

Part Qualified Patent Attorney

Candidates should have a minimum 2:1 in electrical engineering or a related subject, plus a strong motivation to become fully qualified as a patent attorney. You should be able to demonstrate good Trainee experience to date and we will provide you with on-going structured training. You will have the opportunity to handle a broad range of electrical technologies, including telecommunications and consumer electronics, computing and physics-related technologies for a diverse set of clients ranging from small businesses to multi-national corporations.
