During 2016, the business made the exciting decision to establish and grow an IP litigation service. As a result of the hugely successful start-up of the service, facilitated by Geoff Hussey our lead litigation partner, we are seeking to grow the service further in line with our expansion plans and client demand.
The partners of the firm are keen to appoint an IP Litigation Solicitor to take on a key role within the litigation team currently consisting of our lead partner, an associate and paralegal, but which will grow further with more associates starting with this key appointment, to work with existing clients as well as developing new business. This is a unique opportunity to play a role in building the service and to reap the benefits of working with and being supported by our talented team of attorneys and solicitors across the firm to create the very best solutions for our clients’.
Our ideal candidate will be a dynamic, pro-active and experienced individual, with at least 9 years PQE (although the person is more important than an exact amount of PQE and so is flexible) and a broad experience of working across a range of patent, trade mark design right, and copyright litigation matters. Comfort with handling non-contentious IP assignments and licences, IP audits, etc, is also desirable. Suitable candidates will be excited by the opportunity of working with multi skilled teams of attorneys and solicitors to provide high quality solutions for our clients. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who can strike a balance between technical expertise and being comfortable working with a range of scientific topics, combined with an interest in developing business and a practical, legal and analytical approach to their work.
