Highly-rated intellectual property law firm AA Thornton IP LLP has an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified trainee patent attorney, to continue their learning within our talented team, handling chemical inventions and specialising in organic chemistry.
The appointment of a new part qualified trainee attorney is part of our ongoing commitment to training and developing talent within the firm. It is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to play a pivotal role in the team and to reap the benefits of working and learning in a friendly, supportive and stimulating environment with like-minded individuals.
You will have exposure to a broad range of clients who are pushing the boundaries of patentability and to work in collaboration with our talented team of attorneys and solicitors across the firm.
Our ideal candidate will have at least a first university degree in chemistry (or related subject) as well as a good level of knowledge and a passion for organic chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Candidates will have passed foundation exams, having gained experience along the way within the patent profession in order that they can make an immediate impact whilst being supported in working towards full qualification.
