Julie’s long career history in this field lends itself to her topic of choice: “Patents – an excellent way of finding out about ‘new natural’ materials from biotechnology”. In this session, Julie will discuss the increasing number of ‘new natural’ materials designed as replacements for familiar functional cosmetic materials.
