Dr Marianne Privett, Principal Patent Attorney and James Anani-Isaac, Trainee Patent Attorney attended the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Emerging Technologies Showcase 2015 on 29 June 2015. The flagship event is focused on innovation, which features the Emerging Technologies Competition finalists. Thirty small companies and academic entrepreneurs from across Europe pitched their latest technologies for a chance to win one of the nine prizes consisting of one-to-one business support from multinational companies and up to £20,000 each.
The visionary speakers, included Mark Miodownik and Jaideep Prabhu, who talked about future trends in healthcare, sustainability and materials, and design-led innovation.
